The MXT SoM for RZ/G2L is a purpose-built module designed to deliver high-quality human-machine interface (HMI) functionality and embedded multimedia capabilities in industrial systems, smart displays and control equipment. Powered by the Renesas RZ/G2L MPU — featuring dual Arm® Cortex®-A55 cores, a dedicated Cortex-M33 core, 3D graphics engine and video codec support — it offers a compelling mix of performance, graphics and integration ease. Combined with MXT’s engineering excellence, long-term availability assurance and module-level simplicity, this solution enables OEMs to accelerate time-to-market and focus on value-added design rather than core platform complexity.

Based on RZ/G2L MPU: dual Arm® Cortex®-A55 cores at up to ~1.2 GHz + Cortex-M33 for real-time tasks.
Integrated Arm® Mali™-G31 3D graphics engine and H.264 video codec, enabling rich GUI, video playback and multimedia displays.
Display and camera interfaces: MIPI-DSI / parallel display out; MIPI-CSI or parallel camera IF; enabling advanced HMI with sensor input.
High-speed connectivity and industrial I/O: dual Gigabit Ethernet, CAN-FD, USB 2.0, DDR3L/DDR4 memory interface with ECC for reliability.
Modular SoM format by MXT: simplifies carrier-board design, shortens certification cycle and supports long term service life.
