The MXT SoM + Carrier for RZ/N2L is a high-performance, integrated module + carrier platform designed specifically for demanding industrial networking, Ethernet switch, gateway and IIoT applications. At its heart lies the Renesas RZ/N2L MPU, purpose-built for industrial Ethernet, TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking) and real-time communication. Powered by the RZ/N2L MPU featuring an Arm® Cortex®-R52 core (up to 400 MHz) and large on-chip SRAM (1.5 MB ECC ) for reliable real-time network packet processing.

Integrated TSN-compliant 2-port Gigabit Ethernet switch supporting industrial Ethernet standards like EtherCAT®, PROFINET RT/IRT, EtherNet/IP™ and OPC UA—ideal for high-precision synchronized networking.

Dedicated carrier board includes multiple PHYs, rugged connectors, isolated power rails, industrial I/O (CAN, RS-485, DI/DO), and a streamlined power tree ready for 24 V environments.
